I love the comment from Dr.Montessori, we as educator's sometime forget the foundation that must be set inorder to accomplish a skill or goal. Knowledge brings about change and when it is establish there is no confusion.

ReplyDeleteI love the quote by Louise Derman-Sparks, I have the same outlook on the importance of early childhood education for the same reason. Preschool years ARE so crucial for growth and development!
ReplyDeleteI really identify with the first quote you listed. Many studies say that children will learn who they are, their tendencies, their preferences, personalities, etc., by the preschool/kindergarten age. Our goal as providers or teachers is to actively provide children with a positive and learning atmoshphere in which they can thrive and become the best person that they can be. Thank you for posting that!
